From the Hotel Tramuntana it is easy to get to the whole of the northern Costa Brava, including towns like Roses, Cadaqués, El Port de la Selva and Llança, all about 40km away.
A visit to the Dalí Museum is not to be missed in Figueres (21km), a town which is a very active commercial and cultural centre.

The Aiguamolls de l'Empordà are one of the main wetlands of Catalonia, along with the deltas of the Ebro and the Llobregat.
They are located in the Ampurdanesa plain, between the mouths of the Fluvià and Muga rivers, in a space characterized by the present fluvial courses, the old mouths of the rivers, and the systems of channeling and ditch of the crops that historically have been given. in this place rich in fresh water.
The town of Cadaqués is for both, its residents and travelers, a peculiar place. Historically fishing village, today Cadaqués has a population of about 3,000 habitants, mostly dedicated to tourism. The Dali Theater-Museum, inaugurated in 1974, was built on the ruins of the old Theater of Figueres, and contains a wide range of works that make up the artistic career of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989), from his first artistic experiences and his creations Surrealism, to the works of the last years of his life. The Dalí Theater-Museum was conceived and designed by the artist to offer the visitor a true experience.
It is the best example of volcanic landscape of the Iberian Peninsula. It has a quarantine of volcanic cones and more than 20 basaltic lava flows.
The orography, the soil and the climate provide a varied vegetation, often exuberant, with oaks, oak woods and beech forests of exceptional landscape value.
Besalú is a town in the Garrotxa region of Girona. It is declared as a national historical-artistic ensemble.
The small town of Castellfollit de la Roca stands on a spectacular basaltic cliff 50 meters high and almost a kilometer long cut along the River Fluvià.
The narrow streets of the village lead to the old church of San Salvador, at the end of the cliff, where there is a viewpoint with privileged views.
